Well, it has been a very busy few days, but we are in for at least one day of rest tomorrow, or maybe not... it is Boxing day!! anyway Jonas has made it through his first Christmas!! I think he had a great time too! His Jammies were awesome, and he might have had way too much sugar on Christmas eve, but all in all it was great experience, All the commotion didn't seem to bother him at all. He was happy and cheerful and just the good little boy he always is. Santa will definitely be visiting him next year!
Anyway, now that all the hustle and bustle is over we are sad(well I am) to be leaving the North country and returning to Rexburg. So we have a lot of packing to do in the next few days. Jonas I am sure will be thrilled no matter where he is, but we are sad to officially be away from all the friends and family we dearly love! I'm certain Jonas will miss out greatly not having Grandparents nearby to spoil him rotten, but we officially know that we are doing the right thing for us! Anyway we want to wish everyone a very merry Christmas, we hope it was a wonderful day for everyone!

Sleepovers and Wedding Bells! (Should those be in that order?)
A couple of weeks ago Gabe came to play! Jonas had a really good time having another baby in the house, Gabe on the other hand wasn't to keen on how hands on Jonas was. They had a good time, but Gabe definitely let us know when enough was enough! These boys are just going to hate that we have bath tub pictures of them!!
Climbing the stairs in their P.J.'s on the way to bed!
Then we had a fun weekend sleepover at Grandpa and Grandma's. Jonas had lots of fun chasing their cat around!
Wedding bells ring... Are you listening! Diana got married on Saturday! I am so happy for her, Grayson is such a great guy and they go together so well! Congratulations you two, have fun in the Caribbean!
Rub a dub dub, two boys in the Tub, doing what boys do!

Love the Quilts!
As most of you know, my very good friend Camille designs quilt patterns and her little business is totally taking off. Anyway she's super talented. I'm in the middle of making two of her quilts right now, not to mention I'm paper piecing a third using her Hexagon tutorial that she posted on her Website. anyway she is awesome, so go check out her 6 new patterns that she just finished designing. Super cute, fun, and easy, so they're great for a beginning quilter(like me!). Also check out the link to her little business website where you can see all he other patterns! they are all cute and I'm sure everyone could find something they would like to make there! Anyway enjoy. and while you're browsing enter the contest. wait don't enter the contest, Cuz I want to win! J/K.

A Boy and his Gator!
All of these pictures were taken tonight but this is just how he is all the time. He has discovered this plastic little creature and loves it more than we will ever know. He even likes to take it to bed if we let him. Honestly it's so cute the way he'll crawl around with it, Papa John will make him follow it around the loop from the kitchen to the living room for hours! If he see's his little gator friend he will crawl as fast as he can to get to it. I decided tonight to follow him around for a while to see what little adventures he and his Alligator go on. He has a lot of fun with it, that's for sure.

Better late than never...
I thought I would wait to post until after Jonas saw his Great Grandpa Heggie, not to mention Great Aunt Sonya wanted to brag to Grandma Tammy. As you can see from these pictures we haven't really been up to anything. Pretty boring I know and I don't see the boredom coming to an end anytime soon. Oh well, such is life.
Jonas helped Dad fix the fridge, but mostly he kept pulling the bottom thingy off.
Here's a good shot of his black eye, you should see the other baby.
I just like his hair in this one. It's getting so long!Isn't he adorable!
He loves his GG Heggie! He had lots of fun out in Claresholm.
Just a couple videos too! Enjoy.

Happy Spook Day!
Jonas had a blast for his first Halloween! We spent the afternoon trick or treating at Grandma's mall, then he had swimming lessons and he practiced submersion for the first time ever!! He really didn't like it. After that we went to Raymond to show him off in his adorable goat costume. He had a good time and we really wore him out! I think he had a fun day!
Getting Halloween smooches from Great Grandma B.
This kid ate a ton of Ice Cream last night and Great Grandma H was no exception. Look at that big mouth!
Even Wyatt joined in. What a funny looking cow!
On another less important note, Wyatt got hurt. He was trying to get on the bed but ended up falling on his back instead and now he has become an expert at walking on three legs. It's kinda funny watching him bounce around without using that leg, here's a video. It's kinda dark but hopefully you get the gist!
The kids at the mall with Grandma!! She can sure come up with an awesome costume!! She threw this one together the night before, and it turned out awesome, I don't think Jonas knew what to think of her!!

Pay it forward!!
I almost forgot to do this but a little while ago I signed up to do this!! I signed up to have Camille send me a handcrafted gift sometime in the next year. So, part of this means that I have to Pay it Forward and send something out to three of you. So, I will send a handmade gift to the first three (3) people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don't know what that gift will be yet, but you will receive it within 365 days. The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog. So, if you've resisted joining in or haven't heard of this yet, join in the fun - I'd love to send you something!

Chili Sauce!
Today was an eventful day! We spent the morning making Chili sauce (mmmmmm... so good) My Grandma's recipe, and it is the best... not to mention I love getting together with my Mom and sister to make it! It was a fun morning that consisted of chopping and boiling and playing in the Fall leaves during down time! Here are some pictures.
My mom stirring the pots after we chopped and diced and all that good stuff!
Mmmmm Tomato-ey goodness.Jonas was having a nap this time, but these adorable kids belong to my Sister!
Emmy got buried in the leaves, it was funny she didn't seem to care at all!
We also started decorating for Halloween. Here's a preview of my Moms costume.
The recipe, in my grandmothers writing, but she forgot celery, it's optional I guess.
