Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas!! Santa spoiled us rotten! Just thought since we didn't do cards this year we still wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

8 months!

Christmas time is upon us, so why haven't I started shopping?

It's true, I haven't bought a single present. Maybe it's the Vegas sunshine, or maybe the reality hasn't hit me yet, despite the christmas music and the tree being up. We even went to see Santa already but it just hasn't sunk in. Oh well. Anyway here are some pictures from the last couple weeks. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas!

Thankful...

The day after anyway. I've been trying to get this post up for 2 days now, but I haven't quite found the time with all the craziness that has been going on! Anyway here are just a few things I'm thankful for this year!

1. I have an incredible husband. He's not perfect, but I think that's what I love best about him. He is always trying his best. It doesn't hurt that he surprises me sometimes too! Oh and he's super good looking! Unfortunately I don't have a very recent picture, but here's a little shot of how he surprised me recently!

2. I have two great kids! I know I'm being so cliche, but if the shoe fits...

3. I have a wonderful family! I love all of you! Mom, Dad, Trevor, Jessie, Brock! And all of your significant others! I couldn't ask for anyone better to be in my family!

4. My Husband also has a great family. I thought I knew that before but they have proved it above and beyond by letting us live with them this long without kicking us out on our butts!

There is so much more, my testimony, my health, my friends. life is good.

Gibson is 7 months old! He still hasn't mastered his crawing, but he can get where he needs to go when he wants to.

Halloween, a little late...

I have been meaning to post our Halloween activities, but obviously I haven't gotten around to it til now. You already know what Jonas was from this post, but thanks to Grandma Reggie, she made his costume even better! He had a blast trick or treating, and showing off the "whoosh" of his wings at every house! Gibson made a cute King Kong, (notice his little Fay Wray in the pictures) but passed out halfway through our trick or treating adventure, he was still a cute sleeping King Kong too! We also carved a pumpkin of Halloween morning and Jonas had a great time getting dirty in the pumpkin guts, and he made sure to tell us what kind of jack-o-lantern he wanted! What a fun holiday!

6 Months!

My baby is 6 months today! I can't believe it! We're having a great time in Canada but we can't wait to get back to Vegas were there is no snow, and where daddy is waiting! We miss you! Here's a snap shot of today. My brother took some 6 month pictures for us on Sunday but they're not ready, so this will have to do.
Matt, check out the new motorcycle bike Papa John got for Jonas... It's a Harley!

Also check out the scooting! I'm a little worried, he's gonna be going places before I'm ready, but I guess we'll just have to deal with it! He's such a crazy kid! He can pretty much get anywhere he wants to right now, and he's not even full on crawling yet!

Another one for you, Dad!

Gibson is almost 6 months, so I figure it's about time to start him on something else besides milk to eat. I gave him rice cereal today and hopefully it'll help with our new sleep routine... I'm getting a little tired of waking up twice a night... Let the sleep training begin!

5 Months!

We've done some fun things this past week but I'm too tired to talk about them tonight... Jonas has decided that 6am is the new 7:45am, so I'm going to bed. Here's a quick shot of our big 5 month old at the park today!

We Made It!

Well we are finally in Vegas. We are settled at Matt's parents and so far things have been pretty uneventful. We are definitely glad to be here. It's nice to know it's not going to snow soon. Also we finally cut off Gibsons baby toupee! Here are the before and after shots!

Lots of fun around here...

Well, not counting today we have ten days til we head down to Vegas... I think I might miss being here another winter... or not. Anyway since Matt graduated we have had hardly any free time, which is actually really nice! We celebrated my 27th birthday, and my Mom and John came to babysit for us so we could go on a date... I'd like to think the main reason they drove 8 hours to babysit was for my birthday, but I'm pretty sure they just wanted to squish the boys before we move even farther away! Thanks so much Grandma and Papa, the date was very needed. After they left on Sunday we had another visit from Grandpa Rob to look forward to. He decided to come visit for a couple days after having shoulder surgery. We tried to make him take it easy, but that's hard to do when you have a 2 year old that loves his Grandpa! Now it's down to packing and cleaning and trying to stay sane... This is currently how we're all feeling so wish us luck!

4 Months!

I'm a day late posting, OK 2 days... Not to mention he's in his Jammies, but this was taken on the 15th. I can't believe he 4 months old! He's officially found his feet, and he's laughing and rolling like crazy. He cracks us up everyday. At his Doctors appointment today, he weighed in at a whopping 14 lbs 14oz. I can't believe how big he's getting!

Blogger is dumb...

I'm trying to post Gibsons 4 month Jammie photo shoot but Blogger is being dumb, so you will all have to wait. Sorry. I promise I haven't forgotten about blogging, we've just been busy... If blogger ever starts working I can prove it too!

Monsters, Yellowstone, Graduation... Mmm what else have we done this month...

I guess I should get back on the blogging train, I'm just feeling super unmotivated these days, and surprisingly Matt being done school doesn't seem to be helping. don't get me wrong I am thrilled he graduated but I think it hasn't quite sunk in yet... Maybe it didn't really happen but these pictures say other wise. I know it's a little late but we are so proud of Matt, he worked so hard!We spent the weekend hanging out with Matt's family, sans Michael (we missed you!). But Yellowstone was a blast. Who doesn't love a good rotten egg steam bath...BTW I'm posting this picture only to point out the Asian dude... He was totally taking pictures of my kid, and not even discreetly, it was weird...After Old Faithful, I think he liked it... Why is swimming in a hotel pool so much more fun than any other pool? This is what we did while Matt and his Dad fixed the A/C in our new van... Which I still haven't blogged about, so without further ado, here it is. Thanks again Rob for fixing it, it is heavenly!Last but not least I'd like to introduce you to the monster. he was hanging out on our window a few nights ago, Matt insisted on catching it and taking pictures. you can't really tell but he's a good 3 inches long. I hate him. He gives me the willies.
