We're Back!

I love Canada, but especially in the summer time. Canada Day is such a major event. It was lots of Fun spending time up there and seeing lots of Family! Every time i go home it's harder to leave. The only thing that keeps me coming back is knowing my fabulous Hubby is waiting at home for me!

Well it's that time again, I just thought I'd put up more pictures because I haven't in a while. This is what we'e been up to I guess... Not a lot going on, just getting ready to go to Canada! Hooray!

So much has been going on the past little while. Jonas has finally gotten to go swimming and he's started rice cereal! I wont lie i feel super inadequate as a mom, I have no clue what I'm doing. At least I have a wonderful sister and mom to get advice from. Jonas will probably be eating runny rice cereal for the rest of his life bcause I'll be too clueless to know when to make it thicker! oh well I'm sure I'll get the hang of it! Jonas also had his 4 month check up. I am proud to announce that he weighs 17lbs! and has grown over 5 inches since he was born! Wow! he is growing up so fast, he has almost accomplished rolling from back to tummy, and he reaches out for all sorts of things. Not to brag but he is such a smart boy! we are very proud of him, which is kinda obvious considering we have a whole blog page dedicated to him!

4 months!

We finally got portraits done professionally!! Jonas was a Royal Grump for the whole thing but you can't tell in the pictures. The girl did a really good job!

Yep, it's official. The computer has taken over my life. All I do is sit here and play all day. Well not all day, but I should be cleaning my floors right now but... oh well. I'm so addicted to this that I forgot I had started making myself some lunch and burnt a whole pot of water. whoops!
Anyway my little guy is growing up so fast. I've retired all of his 0-3 month clothes only to find out that he's already fitting into a lot of his 6-9 month clothes. oh well he's my little big man. Here are some totally cute pics of him.

It has been way too long since i last updated so i thought i would put a couple of pictures on of Jonas in Canada. We came up for a week long visit and we go home tomorrow. I'll update more thoroughly when i actually get home but here are a couple of shots of Jonas and some great Grandparents!! Wow four generations!

Well i guess it's that time again. time to update the blog!! Hooray!! things here are quiet as usual. Jonas got to celebrate Easter although he slept through a lot of it... he got to go to his first car show with Daddy( he hasn't decided what kind of car he wants yet!). And he had 3 great nights when he slept all night long! that was my favorite part of the week. anyway other than that he just keeps getting bigger and i keep putting more and more clothes into boxes. man, i wish he'd stay little forever.

Having lots of fun!!

Being a stay at home mom is so much fun!! I saw a story on the Today show this morning about a lady who has recently published a book saying that it was not smart for women to stay home with their children and that anyone who does is probably making a huge mistake. She covered all the bases of what if mom and dad get divorced or what if Dad dies or what if he's hurt on the job and can't support a family anymore. I can totally understand these views but I've also come to my own conclusion, you can't live life for the what ifs, you need to live it for today, and today i want to be spending all the time I can with my little boy. It's rewarding and fun and the best job I've ever had. i would not give it up for the just in cases of life!!
