We're Back, Suprisingly...

We almost didn't make it... After it taking twice as long to get to St. George due to an over heating car, the baby taking FOREVER to eat, and then a flat tire right after Beaver, I thought we'd never make it. I told Matt that if one more thing went wrong we were stopping at a hotel. needless to say it took us eight hours to get from Vegas to Salt Lake City. Anyway Vegas was a blast. We spent Saturday with this awesome family, Jonas got to go swimming with her two adorable boys and Matt got some BFF (they will hate that I just referred to them as BFF's) time in with her hubby, and I got to take some sneak peaks at some stuff she's been working on, not to mention see her gorgeous fabric (BTW she's doing a giveaway of her new line here right now...) in person. (Now I just need to wait till I can get my hands on some of it...) In other words a perfect day, Thanks again guys!
The rest of the weekend was spent hanging out with Matt's family which was also a blast! Jonas has fallen for his Uncle Mark and never went a moment without entertaining someone. It was so fun seeing everyone and spending the Holiday Monday at Mount Charleston was so nice. The temperature up there is so much more bearable that down in the valley. Seriously thanks so much everyone for entertaining our kids and letting me sleep in. It was wonderful.
Last but not least we think Matt's interview went pretty well too, and hopefully we will be hearing back about a second interview in the next couple of weeks. Keep praying for us, or crossing your fingers or whatever works best for you, we really appreciate it!

Here are some shots from Mount Charleston, we actually had to keep Gibson bundled up because the weather was so cool...

What a dirty face... But he had a blast!

Camille took some snapshots of Gibson and I seriously don't know how she always makes them look so fantastic, not to mention I think he's already developed his first crush, Gibson just loved her!
I can officially always tell Jonas's feet and Gibson's feet pictures apart, Gibson is a toe spreader. So funny.

On Our Way...

To sunny Las Vegas for the long Weekend... Can't wait to hang out with family and friends. Also we are finally finished with all of Gibsons legal hoo-ha. He has his Social Security Number and as of today we have sent off for his passport! Yay! Now we are all set for one last road trip in July up to Canada! Can't wait for a fun summer that will hopefully make the days fly by til Matt graduates! Wish us luck on that interview he has on Tuesday... Please...

P.S. I'm pretty sure Gibson has finally started smiling. This is the closest we've come to catching it in a picture, not mention I think this on in particular is just a gas grin, but as of the last few days he's been making this face a lot, now we just need to get a close up that's hopefully not so blurry!

1 Month Already!?

I can't believe it has already been a month since Gibson came to join us... Absolutely crazy! It has gone by so fast that my only reason for not being devastated by it is that it also means a month of Matts last semester has also gone by so fast, and I'm pretty sure the rest of the ten or so weeks will be just as quick. Now here's to hoping that Matt can find a job. Lets all pray/cross fingers/whatever other helpful thing you can think of, that Matt gets this job he's interviewing for over the May Long weekend. It would be a goody so here's to hoping they think he's as awesome as I think he is.
Here's a few pictures of my baby today. The light was not so hot and my camera isn't awesome, but these turned out OK. I think he's cute no matter what.

I know I'm a nerd... But...

I Love High School Musical. Cheesy I know, but I'm not ashamed to admit it even though I should be. Even though I like these movies I would like the world to know that I can still appreciate the ridiculousness of them. Zac Efron does a hilarious punch dance in the second one, oh wait, and the third, and the acting is definitely mediocre. Also there is this video. I love it.

6 Years, and the Mom's I Love!

First, as a Mom, don't you wish you could say that this was your biggest mess to clean?
Anyway I know I'm a day late posting this but I thought I'd do it anyway. For the first time, (but not the last...) My anniversary has fallen on the same day as Mothers day. Surprisingly this doesn't really bother me. I get dinner made for me on Sunday and I also get to go out to eat with my awesome Hubby. So I get two free days in a row! I wish I could say that Matt did something extra special for me yesterday, but considering all that he has been doing since Gibson came along, I don't think he could have done anything more short of diamonds (which we so can't afford), or Chocolate, (which make the baby Gassy), or flowers, (which I already enjoyed a massive array of gorgeous roses not even 3weeks ago). So I guess what I'm saying is... Matt all I need from you is your retarded love... (It's an inside joke.) Because you are already doing way to much for me these days! I love you and I can't wait for six more years. Or more. depending on a certain Mr. Efron. Now on to My favorite Mom's. I'd like to start with mine. Mom you've taught me so much and always make me feel proud of myself. You are a wonderful Mom and continue to teach me about what's truly important and I try to remember that everyday. Hope yesterday was awesome!
Next in line is my Sister. Jessie, you are such a good Mom and your children are your life. Thanks for all the advice, and for just being a phone call away when I have a question. No matter how many kids I have I think I'll always see you as much more experienced and I will always come up with new questions that you always seen to have the answer to. Happy Mothers Day!

Now on to my Mother in Law. Thanks for raising such wonderful kids. I wasn't there to witness it, but I can see how your love for them has made them who they are today. Also, thanks for taking me in and treating me just like a daughter, even though I was only lucky enough to marry into the family! So Happy Mothers Day to you too! I Hope to be as good a Mom as these 3 ladies! You are awesome!

Now to finish... These two are what make this day so darn special. Even though I had poopy diapers to change on my special day, it was all worth it. Now I just can't wait till they're old enough to make me breakfast in bed.

Now for one last reason why I love my husband. Direct quote from Matt... "If he's the one doing the bullying* at least he wont get picked on... Right?"

*We do not in anyway hope for Jonas to become a bully, although with the moves Matt has been teaching him, I fear we have no hope...

Family Pictures... I guess.

Why do kids never want to cooperate? I do not blame our Photographer at all. These were all our kids... I am actually impressed with the shots she did get, but seriously, Camille, when are you coming again? Just kidding... kind of... Anyway here are a few that I actually liked, but imagine a series of shots with Jonas choking himself, Gibson crying 99% of the time, one were there is no one in it at all, and only one slightly decent on with all of us in it. It will have to do, oh and remember all the cute naked pictures of Jonas when he was first born? Gibson is a prude and hates taking his clothes off. So I guess we wont be getting any ones like that of him, oh well. I will be grateful for this adorable one my Brother took.

Beware! Photo overload!

First, Jonas's face in this picture pretty much sums up how we feel about Gibson...
I really haven't had time for this until this moment... I promise. Anyway a lot has happened the last week or so. We blessed Gibson, we've had a ton of company, Matt deserted me for a few days... Doctors appointments, finishing a quilt, watching Zac on the big screen, and just new baby things that keep every new Mom busy, so I would like to apologize for the delay and just put up a bunch of pictures. So for all you who have been complaining about the lack of blogging... Eat your heart out.

Officially Introducing...

After much deliberation (and anxiety on my part...) we are proud to officially introduce Gibson Ralph Brandley. The hospital has been called, it is on the birth certificate, it is done. After all that has happened over the last 5 days I'm wondering now why I had such a hard time just picking, but I believe we've made a good choice. Anyway I thought I would put up a couple more pictures and just let the world know how much easier number 2 is. Don't get me wrong there are still sore nipples and sleepless nights, oh and no one warned me about the after pains with number two, although my Sister claims she did... Anyway he is such a good baby and we are thrilled to have him in our family!

Don't mind the retarded look on my face, I thought Jonas was funny!

Thanks again Grandma! You were a lifesaver and Jonas had a blast with you!

IT'S A BOY!! And What A Boy!!

Hooray, this is just a quick little note to say, I'M A DAD again!! Our "little" one was born today at 2ish in the afternoon, weighing in at 9 lbs 3 ounces and 20.5" long. He's a big boy, and he's got a great set of lungs. We're excited. Still no name though.

A Surprise Visitor...

Nope, sorry no baby yet, hope I didn't get your hopes up. Believe me I would be most ecstatic if that were the case, but despite the Elliptical on Wednesday, multiple walks for Wyatt, spicy Ichiban on Friday, some unmentionable things that are supposed to work, and off-roading with Matt this morning... So far no luck. But Jonas received a special visitor this afternoon, or in other words, Mom and Dad decided the Easter Bunny was coming a day early. We are debating making this an on going thing, that way on Sunday we can focus more on Churchy things. We'll see if we keep it up that way or not, but this year I think it will be good. Anyway, we waited til after Jonas woke up from his nap and then we sent him out with a bucket and a dream. The best part was at the end when he found his basket and all he cared about were the cars in it. He had no desire for any of the candy, it was funny! Anyway, here are just a couple pictures!
He lined all his "Easter" cars up on the window sill, but would not include the two from Grandma Reggie and Papa John that he got this morning while we had breakfast with Papa John. I guess because they weren't in the basket they didn't count. He does love them though, thanks again, Grandma and Papa!

A Date has been Set!

Although I am going to try really hard to have this baby before that date. The Doctor gave me the option of being induced if I haven't had the baby by April 15th. I think I would just let nature take it's course but Matt has a job fair in Vegas that we think could be very beneficial to him finding a job when he graduates. So for all you out there who think I'm wimpy for getting induced I promise it is not only for the reason that I am sick of being pregnant. Jobs are going to be hard enough to find, so hopefully Matt deserting me and a brand new baby for a few days will make things a little more hopeful on the job front. Anyway we had a lovely weekend together watching conference and just hanging out as a family, surprisingly watching 8 hours of talks, playing with Jonas and snuggling with me, Matt was able to get all of his projects done, which means this week is not as crazy and stressful as he thought it would be. Hooray! he has one test left and then he's home free, which means I can have this baby anytime. Yay! Here are just a couple pictures from this weekend. Hopefully my next post will include a tiny bundle of blue and sweetness!
When the new baby comes, it'll be nice to know that Jonas still has a friend to hang out with.

We took one last quick trip to Idaho Falls for a couple last minute items. Jonas had a blast at the mall. I wish I would've taken a picture of him in Old Navy. If anyone has seen their most recent display, it's a bunch of creepy mannequins, and Jonas felt the need to give each one a hug before we left the store, especially the little girl that was just his size. I think she got 4 or 5 hugs.

We got a surprise phone call on Saturday morning. Papa John was trucking through town and so we went and met him for Breakfast. Thanks for the awesome book and for letting Jonas drive the truck!

Jonas gave him so many hugs! He loves his Papa John.

Sunday we took a walk to see the new calves, Jonas sat there for a good 1/2 hour mooing and saying "baby", over and over.

Just a quick update...

Nothing is happening yet. I am miserable and tired, and more tired of being pregnant than I ever remember being with Jonas. Oh well that is life, we are trying to stay busy and active, (I hear it might help...) also the Doctor has an ultrasound scheduled for monday so they can see if this guy is going to be a big fatty or not. If he is I may get induced but if he's not, then I think it will just be more waiting. Let all just hope I go into labor this week and then we'll never have to worry about it! Right? Sorry there are no pictures, apparently we forgot we even owned a camera. Anyway here's to hoping for a baby soon... like today. Maybe not today. How about tomorrow.
P.S. I thought about doing a fake post considering it is April 1st but it would've been just a little cliche, I think so anyway...
