I have been spending weeks and weeks at the spray park in Rexburg, only to be met with resistance and tears every time. It could have something to do with the fact that it's supposed to be nap time every time we go, or maybe Jonas doesn't like water as much as I thought he did... Anyway I have given up. Until today. I had revelation... I could work him into the spray park... I could get him used to it slowly and then he'd grow to love it! Step one is the green monster seen below, and although I may have scarred him for life when I initially turned it on and it sprayed him in the face, but after a good cry he was actually mighty intrigued by it! I've had this pool for almost a year now and I've finally used it! (Well, Jonas did!). I think with time we might actually get him in the big spray park. Till then this is our best friend!
P.S. Please excuse the lack of swimwear... It's in the wash! I know we live in a trailer but I promise we are not that white trash... all the time!

hahahaha! Oh man, Renee, you crack me up! This whole post made me laugh. Jonas is such a nerd-face, and you are such a good little mommy. So clever! Maybe by the time I come and visit in August, Jonas will have graduated to the spray park. By the way...I loved your sunglasses in the last post too. I forgot to tell you that. :)
I have to agree with Melissa - too funny, she read the post to me and we were dying. That pool is so cute and you are smar, that will probably work to get him used to the spray park. Have you tried him in the pool yet since your swim lessons? Does he still like that? By the way - Love the combine in the background!
I love the little froggie pool! So cute! I didn't really get a chance to get Emmy used to ours she pretty much immersed herself! She loved it though! He better be ready for the spray park when you come in August so we can have some fun!
