Jonas has finally gotten his first teeth this week, after 3 nights of no sleep they finally broke through!! These pics are a little blurry but if you look close you can see them. Also we did a Halloween shoot to document the occasion! He sure makes a cute goat.
Here are his cute little teeth! The teething wore him out like crazy, one night he just fell asleep right on the floor and we couldn't even wake him up to eat! Golly, what a cute little billy goat! He was not to thrilled at first!
But then Dad cheered him up!
Jonas was getting a kick out of throwing these paper balls around, you can't really hear him but he is laughing up a storm!!
I almost forgot to do this but a little while ago I signed up to do this!! I signed up to have Camille send me a handcrafted gift sometime in the next year. So, part of this means that I have to Pay it Forward and send something out to three of you. So, I will send a handmade gift to the first three (3) people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don't know what that gift will be yet, but you will receive it within 365 days. The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog. So, if you've resisted joining in or haven't heard of this yet, join in the fun - I'd love to send you something!
Today was an eventful day! We spent the morning making Chili sauce (mmmmmm... so good) My Grandma's recipe, and it is the best... not to mention I love getting together with my Mom and sister to make it! It was a fun morning that consisted of chopping and boiling and playing in the Fall leaves during down time! Here are some pictures.
The recipe, in my grandmothers writing, but she forgot celery, it's optional I guess.
My mom stirring the pots after we chopped and diced and all that good stuff! Mmmmm Tomato-ey goodness.Jonas was having a nap this time, but these adorable kids belong to my Sister! Emmy got buried in the leaves, it was funny she didn't seem to care at all! We also started decorating for Halloween. Here's a preview of my Moms costume.
After hours and hours of boiling, here is the finished project, I even made it look pretty with a fancy bow!
Another Jonas update, he has mastered stairs. Well to a degree anyway he can't get down them yet, but he can get up!!
This was our thanksgiving weekend in all it's glory...
Saturday morning we went out for breakfast. Jonas ate one of Papa Johns pancakes
Then we proceeded to Costco where Papa John bought Jonas a train!! He loves it. Today we spent the morning playing in the leaves, Jonas was not to thrilled about it but he started enjoying it after a while.
Another crawling update. He is doing it!!! He's doing a great job too! We are so proud of him.
I'm sure that's what you're all thinking right now too. I promise we did not forget about our loyal readers, (or Jonas lovers). the trip up to Canada was long and wet, and we would again like to tell Rob, Tammy and Mitchel how much we appreciate all the help they gave to us while we were moving, next time we promise we'll do it ourselves!! Wyatt has adjusted well to his new surroundings and he and Kaida seem to be getting along just fine. (thanks again Brock and Tasha!) Jonas on the other hand is taking a few more days but he also seems to be happy. (Especially at 5:30 in the morning). He is so close to being an avid crawler, mostly he army crawls but occasionally he makes it a few paces on hands and knees. Here are some photo's and videos for all to enjoy! We miss all of you and hope you're doing great!
A fire hydrant at one of the Gas stations we stopped at, I thought it was funny...
Matt's birthday cake Wyatt and Kaida getting acquainted! Wyatt and Kaida Jonas snuggling with Grandpa Price Jonas was having a lot of fun with Daddy, he was laughing so hard!!
Ok weird, I know but I haven't taken any picture of Jonas since we got here... a lot of video but no pictures, I promise I'll do better.
